Posted on September 29th, 2010 in Environment,Mendocino County,Politics by LeGov

This week Radio Curious is joined by 5th District candidates for Supervisor in Mendocino County, Dan Hamburg and Wendy Roberts. Host and attorney Barry Vogel asks them both the same questions, independently of one another so you can compare their answers.

The book Wendy Roberts recommends is, “Touching Wings, Touching Wild,” by Ronnie James.

The book Dan Hamburg recommends is, “The Shock Doctrine,” by Naomi Klein.

The interviews were recorded in the last week of September at the studios of Radio Curious in Ukiah, Ca.

Wendy Roberts — whatta whiner — writes (to MCN lists):
“this whole interview was engineered to allow my opponent another unopposed public shot at me.
“Those “objective questions” took statements from my e-mail out of context
and were designed to blindside me while allowing Dan to put words in my mouth and openly lie”

excuse me. i don’t typically listen to your show barry. i am very interested in making the best choices when i vote. i thought that if i listened to your show i may gather more information on both mr. hamburg and ms. roberts. i was happy to see that there was a link listed so that i could listen on line so thank you for that.

i fail to understand how if you ask questions about one particular candidates speech you can consider your show objective?

it would seem in order to be objective you would have to ask general questions.

Note: I asked the author of this comment to identify herself. After receiving no response, I was able to determine who she is. Mo, why did you choose not to use your full name in your comment? Barry Vogel, Radio Curious Host and Producer
